Robert "Bob" Miller

Robert C. Miller, age 67, passed away on Dec 7, 2017 in Manteca, CA. He was born in Bentonville, AR and came to Stockton, CA as a toddler. Bob resided in San Joaquin County his entire life. A graduate of Franklin High School, Class of '68, he served in Vietnam with the US Army and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and

Army Commendation Medals. Bob's career after his military service spanned from being a Reserve Stockton PD Trainee, Port of Stockton Police Officer, Lawrence Livermore Lab Security Officer, and finally retiring in 2015 as a Customer Service Rep at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He is survived by his wife Pat and sons Bob and Mike (Jackie) Miller, his grand- children: Logan, Andrea, Tristyn, Mitch Miller, and Zach Reed. His siblings: Bill (Denise) Miller, Fred (Vicky) Miller, Debbie Hepperle, Peggy (Phil) Ryan, Janice Miller, Delbert (Trudy) Miller, and John (Robin) Miller and survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his Father, William C. Miller, Mother, Imogene (Jean) Miller, and Brother, Jerry Lee Miller.

Contributions can be made to: Hospice of San Joaquin, the American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice. Next to his love for his wife Pat and his family, Bob's true passion was for fishing and music. If Bob was your friend, he was your friend for life.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi.

A reception will immediately follow the funeral at Elkhorn Country Club, 1050 Elkhorn Drive Stockton, CA 95209.

Linda Loveland

May 3, 1952 - December 7, 2017 Linda Marie Loveland was born and raised in Stockton, California, by parents Virginia and Albert Lovotti.  She was little sister to brothers Paul (Teri) and John (Nancy) Lovotti, with whom she enjoyed a very close relationship in later years of life.  Linda grew up loving the beach and The Beatles.  She fell in love with one of her oldest brother’s baseball friends, Bryan (Tim) Loveland, and they were married for nearly 44 years.  She was a stay-at-home mom to daughters Amanda (Colin) and Stephanie (Robert) for many years.  Her professional life of over 20 years included working for Western Stone Products and Lodi Unified School District, most recently as a school secretary, until she retired in 2003.  Linda was known as “Grammy” to grandchildren, Timothy (11), Mallory (9), and Amelia (4).  One of her biggest joys was watching Timmy and Mallory play sports.  Linda was also an avid collector, enjoyed watching her favorite shows, and, when she could travel, loved taking trips with Tim ranging from Cabo to Spring Training using their timeshare.  Linda passed away peacefully on December 7, 2017.  She will be sorely missed by her husband, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Robert Davenport Cadman

May 17, 1926 - December 4, 2017

 

Our dear father, Robert, passed away on December 4, 2017 at the age of 91. He was born in Massachusetts to Harold and Mary Cadman. He served in the US Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1946. Robert married Margaret Stewart in 1947. In 1950, they began their family with a son, Bruce. They moved to Stockton in 1953 and had two more children, Glenn and Cindy. Robert worked for Eagle Ford, Fairway Ford, Delta Pontiac, and finished his career at Plummer Pontiac/Cadillac.

Robert was a caring, compassionate man whose family was the most important thing to him. He loved playing golf, working in the yard, and spending time at Lake Tahoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, son Glenn (Connie), and his wife of 70 years, Margaret Lorraine Cadman. He is survived by his son Bruce (Kathy) and daughter Cindy Escobar (Gary); as well as seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

SERVICES

A memorial will be held on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at 10 am, at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park; Hwy 99 and Harney Lane.

Eva Felahy

  August 27, 1942 - December1, 2017

Eva Maria Felahy, 75 of Stockton, passed away Friday Dec. 1, 2017 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born on August 27, 1942 in Dorfchemnitz, Gemany. Eva was preceded in death by her parents Stephan and Gertrude Arnold of Wiesbaden, Germany, Sisters Inge Fischer and Doris Könenkamp both of Germany.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Isam Felahy; sons Wally Felahy (Rosalia) of Lodi, Volki Felahy (Audra) of Rocklin, daughters Monique Felahy (Jon Beard) of Stockton, and Susi Felahy-Gould (Tully) of Galt; and two grandchildren Ava and Sebastian. Daughter of Eva’s heart Heather Weatherbee of Wisconsin.

Eva lived in the former East Germany before moving to Wiesbaden in 1950.  She attended schooling at Marienhöhe SDA followed by nursing school in Maidenhead, England.  Eva met her beloved husband at the Maidenhead Hospital and was married in 1963.  After arriving in the U.S. in 1967, their travels took them to Stockton where they established their home. Eva worked with her husband managing the medical office for 45 years.  Eva was a selfless, caring, and loving woman.  She enjoyed taking care of others, and sharing her love for God along the way.

Eva was a long time member of the Stockton Central SDA Church.

SERVICES

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at English Oaks Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1260 W. Century Blvd, Lodi.

William Huston

William Jack Houston passed away on December 1, 2017. Jack was born on October 12,1934 in Stockton to William andEvadna Houston. He graduated from Stockton High School where he played baseball and lettered in basketball and track. After serving in the Army, Jack owned and operated Peirano's Tavern in Stockton until retiring in 1996. He became active in NASCAR in 1956 and served as an official for over 50 years, traveling to tracks up and down the West coast making many dear friends. In 1995, Jack along with his life partner Doris, began heading up the popular Legends of the Pacific racing division which he enjoyed for many years.

Jack leaves behind his son Jim (Stacey) Houston, granddaughters Briget and Tera, grandson Tyler, 5 greatgrandchildren and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Carol Kappos, niece Kristi Kappos and great-nephew Ian Kappos.

He was preceded in death by his son, John Houston and his love, Doris Goodman.
