Bruce Johnson

April 17, 1937 - March 14, 2019

Beloved Doctor, Husband and Father, Bruce Gordahi Johnson M.D. passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House after a long illness.

Dr. John was born in Clinton, MI. April 17, 1937. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School June 6, 1963 and was a resident at University Kansas Medical School, before serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army, first as a General Medical Officer, then as a Post Surgeon at the headquarters in Fort Greely. Alaska from June 18, 1965 to June 6, 1967. His first wife Vicki and their child Claire accompanied him.

He completed his residency at Santa Monica Hospital before joining Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara as an OBGYN. Dr. Johnson helped create the residency program at Santa Clara as well as serving 17 years as Chief of Staff. He faithfully served the community teaching at Stanford Medical Center and then at the Women's Clinic at U.C. Davis Medical Center. Throughout his illness he continued his practice as the supervising physician at North Stockton Health Center for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. He was valued, respected, and loved by all his patients and co-workers and will be truly missed by his wife, family, and friends.

Bruce G. Johnson M.D. was survived by his wife Barbara Johnson, daughter Dr. Claire Johnson, son-in-law Dr. Bart Green, son Carl Johnson, daughter-in-law Rima Johnson, daughter Lacy Button-Brauns, son Master at Arms Second Class Edward Button, daughter- in-law Danielle Button, his grandson Alexander Johnson and Janet Callahan. His Father Willen Herman Johnson, Mother Rennetta Glendora Jordell, his beloved first wife Vicki Johnson and his sister Mary Linderoth preceded him in death.

A private memorial will be held at Mesa Memorial Park Cemetery Memorial. Contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood Federation of America Inc. Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance American Heart Association.

Helen Triolo

March 10, 1927 - March 13, 2019

Helen Triolo, 92, entered into rest on March 13, 2019 in Lodi, CA. She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Triolo, grandson Christopher Stotts, parents Bartolo and Elizabeth Ruggiero and siblings Rosella Meier and Albert Ruggiero. Helen is survived by three daughters; Carol Stotts (Michael), Diane Oji (John), and Joy Silva (Dannie), five grandchildren; Sandi Roberts (Michael), Vincent Luiz (Sherri), Brian Luiz (Krista), Chelsea Mohr Burnett (Micah) and Emily Mohr; and eight great-grandchildren. Throughout their 62 year marriage, Helen partnered with Russ in their construction business. Not only did she manage the books, office and rental properties, she could often be found working by his side on a construction site, paint brush or wallpaper rolls in hand. Utilizing their combined talents, they built many dozens of homes throughout the Lodi area. Helen was an outstanding wife, mother and grandmother. She volunteered repeatedly as a Blue Bird and Camp Fire Girl leader and Classroom Mother throughout her daughters' school years. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain family and friends. She spent many hours knitting or crocheting gifts for loved ones. She was an accomplished golfer and a member of the Woodbridge and Spring Creek Golf & Country Clubs. She and Russ golfed often during their travels throughout the U.S.A. and numerous other countries. They especially enjoyed playing coastal courses near their Aptos beach home. Helen was a generous, warm-hearted, and kind woman who was always there for her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile. Her family is extraordinarily blessed to have had her unwavering love and support. Quite simply, to know her was to love her.


A Celebration of Life gathering will be at the Woodbridge Elks Lodge, 19071 N. Lower Sacramento Rd., Woodbridge, CA on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
Helen's internment at Cherokee Memorial Park will be private.

February 5, 1955 - March 13, 2019

Prak Morm, 64, has entered into rest surrounded by her family on Wednesday March 13, 2019 @ 11:10PM. Prak was born in Cambodia on February 5, 1955 and was a survivor of the Khmer Rouge. She came to America in 1983 in hopes to provide a better life for her and her family. From her kids to her grandkids, whether it be close friends or acquaintances, her cooking brought everyone together. She also spent a lot of her time gardening. Prak is survived by her husband Dod of 47 years, 3 children; Channa, Chanden and James, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Sai Prak. 

SERVICE

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off  Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

Dale Emerson

March 30, 1925 - March 13, 2019

Dale H Emerson went to be with the lord at 93, on March 13, 2019, in Lodi, CA.
He served in the Army for 2 years during World War II. Dale was from Cotati, and the Chico area. He was married to Florence Emerson for 66 years, until her passing in 2014. He is survived by his two children, Paul Emerson and Barbara Emerson Dobbins, six grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

SERVICE

There will be a graveside service held on Monday, March 18th, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at Los Molinos Cemetery located at 7835 Golden State Highway, Los Molinos, CA 96055.

April 12, 1970 - March 12, 2019

Melissa Renee Scott was called home to the Lord on Tuesday March 12th, 2019.  She was born April 12th, 1970 in Vallejo, Ca. Melissa was a beautiful, wonderful person whom will be missed beyond measure by all those who loved her. She is survived by her husband, Chris Scott. Her children Nicholas Berghorst (Amy), Katelyn Muir (Curtis), Jason Scott and Heather Garcia, her parents Norman and Renee Treat, brothers Brandon Treat (Monae) and Ryan Treat (Michelle), eight grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom all adored her. 

VISITATION

Melissa’s visitation will be held Thursday, March 21st, 2019 from 12:00pm-8:00pm at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240.

SERVICE

The Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday March 22nd, 2019  at 1:00pm also at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA 95240. Burial to follow in the Garden of Azalea.

Larry Powell

March 21, 1949 - March 12, 2019


Larry J. Powell passed away March 12, 2019 in Stockton, CA at the age of 69. He was born in Stockton to O'Neva and Mart Powell, and attended local schools, graduating from Franklin High School. He continued his education at Sacramento State where he received his bachelor's degree. He worked for many years for the CA Youth Authority.

He is survived by his children Elysia "Lisa" Hagy and Aaron Powell; grandsons: Robby, Michael and Marcus and great-grandson Guy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jim Powell.

SERVICE
A Graveside service will take place at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at Harney Lane at Hwy 99, Lodi, CA 95240.

Joseph Ohliger

November 18, 1925 - March 11, 2019

Joseph Bryson Ohliger Jr. "Joe" died peacefully, surrounded by family on March 11th in Stockton, CA at the age of 93. Joe is survived by his 4 daughters; Linda Helbling, Patricia Frerking (Matt), Mary Ohliger (Kathryn), Judy Filippoff (Steve), 11 grandchildren (Rachel, Tim, Mike, Rebekah, Chris, Amanda, Joseph, Tiffanie, Ben, Mia & Max) and 9 great-grandchildren (Alex, Riley, Isabelle, Ashton, Bryson, Sierra, Hudson, Cece & Delilah). He is preceded in death by his wife Meredith Ohliger and son JoeIII. Joe was born on Nov. 18, 1925 in Alameda, CA to Joseph Bryson Ohliger Sr. and Elvina Arnold Rosson. He attended Alameda HS before joining the Army, serving in the Philippines. He married Meredith, his high school sweetheart in 1947.

The couple welcomed 5 children into their home. Joe was an avid bowler, woodworker, traveler, and long-standing member of the SIR and Elks organizations. Joe was a generous individual who loved his family.


SERVICE
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00p.m. on Saturday, May 18th at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, CA with a reception to follow. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Joe's life.

Edward James Cereghino

November 24, 1933 - March 10, 2019

Edward Cereghino, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, age 85, passed away on March 10 th , 2019, after a short illness in Lodi, California. Edward is survived by his children: Linda Cereghino, Diane (Jim) McKittrick, Edward (Judy) Cereghino, Matthew Cereghino, and Jana (Clarence) Santos; his grandchildren: Josh (Yvonne), Lexy, Kyle, Marc, Maggie, Matthew, Julian, and Nathan (Jess); and his great grandchildren: Adrianna, Lisette, Bradley and Gage. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Janet and his parents Edward and Nora Cereghino.

Edward was born on November 24 th , 1933. He was married in 1952, to his high school sweetheart, Janet. Edward was a devoted husband and father. During his lifetime, he shared his vast knowledge with everyone he met and had a genuine concern for all. While his family was his top priority, he took many others under his wing. Edward’s family and friends will always remember him as a kind and compassionate man, who focused on helping those in need. After spending eight years with the New York Yankees Organization, Edward focused on education. Last but not least, he always had a joke to share with everyone, often times, more than once.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 19 ,2019 at 10:00am at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 215 W. Walnut Street Lodi, CA 95240, with the burial following at Cherokee Memorial Park, located at Harney Lane at Hwy 99, Lodi, CA 95240.

November 25, 1960 - March 8, 2019

Mr. James Anthony Martoza, born on November 25, 1960 in San Jose, California, to the late Vivian Pellicone and the late Anthony Martoza, passed away at age 58 on March 8, 2019 in Stockton, California. James was married to Roberta. He is survived by his stepson, Adam Birge, and brother, Marty Martoza. He was a member of Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and an avid animal lover.

The family invites donations in James' name to American Cancer Society and/or Animal Charity of Choice.
