Paige Stinnett

Paige Michelle Stinnett passed away at the age of 26 on Friday, August 23, 2019 due to an auto accident. Paige was born in Stockton on February 23, 1993 to Raquel Stinnett and Shawn Thomas. Paige grew up in Linden and spent most of her childhood and teenage years in the Linden area. Childhood best friends were Sammy Peters, Julianna Kaiser, and Ciera St. Martin. Paige participated in Linden programs such as baseball, soccer, swimming and volleyball. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in M.T.I. Business College, Inc. in Stockton and received a diploma for successfully completing their Medical Assistant Program. Paige enjoyed life to its fullest and had many friends. The love of her life was her daughter Rylie Mae who will turn three in September. Paige is survived by daughter Rylie Mae Stinnett, mother Raquel Stinnett, father Shawn Thomas, grandparents Cinda (Dave) Stinnett-Andersen, Chuck (Betty) Stinnett Sr., Shawn C. Thomas, uncle Chuck Stinnett Jr., cousins Savannah and Summer Stinnett, uncle Steven Bartles, cousins Kate and Zach, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paige will be missed by family and friends but not forgotten. 

SERVICE
There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, September 5th, 2019 at 10:00a.m. at the Vineyard Chapel in Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Road (north end of cemetery) , Lodi CA, 95240.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the gofundme.com memorial fund for Rylie.

Melvin Thomas Lewis

January 30, 1948 - August 20, 2019

Mel passed away August 20, 2019 in Fremont, CA. He was born in Los Angeles, CA and was preceded in death by his parents and Leona Lewis, as well as his brother Samuel John Lewis, and his loving first wife Julia (Phelps) Lewis.

Mel married Rita September 27, 1980. He is survived by Rita, their three children, Laura (and Jason) Shoemaker, Libby (and Jason) Hail, Clayton (and Maria) Lewis, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Mel and Rita are longtime parishioners of GracePoint Church in Lodi, CA. and have enjoyed traveling together, especially their annual trips to Hawaii.

Mel grew up in Bishop, CA. attended college at the University of Nevada in Reno, and graduated with his degree in Business Administration from California State University in Sacramento in 1970. Following graduation, Mel entered the National Guard and served for six years.

During his career, Mel worked in the cemetery industry for over forty years in varying capacities including serving on the Board of Directors for Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, CA., Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, CA., and Cemetery 360.

VISITATION
There will be a visitation held on Thursday, August 29th 2019 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Vineyard Chapel in Cherokee Memorial Park, located at 14165 N. Beckman Road.

SERVICE
Services for Mel will be held at 10:00am on Friday August 30, 2019 at GracePoint Church in Lodi, CA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GracePoint Church of Lodi.

Floyd Kramer

August 21, 1938 - August 18, 2019

Floyd Kenneth Kramer Aug. 21, 1938 - Aug. 18, 2019 Floyd Kenneth Kramer, age 80, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2019 due to a rare blood disorder. He passed away peacefully among his family at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto, CA. Floyd was born on August 21, 1938 in McPherson County South Dakota to Alma and Jake Kramer. He moved to California when he was a child, where he lived for most of his life. Floyd proudly served in the U.S. Army after graduating high school. He worked for Lawrence Livermore Lab, but spent most of his career with the County of San Joaquin building computer systems. After he retired in 1997, he moved to Mesquite, Nevada where he purchased a new home. In his retirement he enjoyed upgrading his home, four-wheeling, a few new cars, and RV-ing to visit family. Floyd loved to spend time with family and friends, discuss his faith, plan for his future, share his hard-earned wisdom, and he was very generous with his kids and grandchildren. Floyd was preceded in death by his devoted mother and father, Jake and Alma Kramer and his beloved sister, Jan Caves. Floyd is survived by his daughter Michele, her husband John, and grandchildren Jennifer Takehana, Jackie Holder, Steven Takehana, Beth Anne Takehana, and Cassandra Cosens, and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his son John Kramer, his wife Michelle, and grandchildren John Kramer Jr., Luke Kramer, and Abigail Kramer. Floyd loved his family very much and they loved him dearly. His life will be celebrated on Monday, August 26, 2019. Viewing will take place at 12:00 noon, and funeral services will start at 1:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park & Funeral Home 14165 N. Beckman Rd. Lodi, CA 95240.

Christopher Million

December 22, 1964 - August 16, 2019

Christopher Lyn Million, 54, of Lodi passed away on Friday, August 16 in Tracy, CA. He was the loving husband of Vanessa Million. Chris was born on December 22, 1964 to Raymond and Charlotte Million in Castro Valley, CA. After spending many years in El Macero, he graduated from Davis Senior High School in 1983. Chris went on to attend Sacramento State and then began his career in the trucking industry. He held numerous positions including dispatcher, driver and instructor for more than 30 years. At the time of his passing, he was working for T&T Trucking.
In 1992, Chris married his first wife, Lenette Fischer, and they welcomed daughter Carli in 1997. Chris was a devoted and proud dad who always said that Carli was his greatest accomplishment in life. She was the light of his life. It was in 2004 that Chris met Vanessa Kocher. They were married in 2007 and spent the next years happily raising their family. There were many special times spent at their favorite place, the beach.
Chris was an avid Oakland Raiders fan, animal lover and Elvis fan. He especially loved live music as long as it was loud. He was a dedicated son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to many. He will be remembered as a kind and compassionate man with a great sense of humor. Chris had a huge heart and made people feel special and loved. He will be greatly missed by all.
Chris is survived by his wife Vanessa Million; daughter Carli Million; brothers Glenn (Lara) Million and Lance (Tammy) Million; step-children Stephanie Sanchez (Eric Dye), Jessica Powell, Lee and Nick Perez, Rosebud (Lolly) and Vern (Bubba) Kocher; mother Charlotte Million; nephews Tanner and Trevor Million, niece Tessa Million; and grandchildren Robert and Angel Sanchez, Destiny (Pookie) Perez, and Clover Rae Dye. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Million, who passed in 2018.

Per the request of the family, services for Christopher will be held privately through Cherokee Memorial.

Tami Topham

02/17/1973 - 08/15/2019

Tami Renee Topham, age 46, passed away August 15, 2019. Tami was born and raised in Lodi, California. She graduated from Lodi High School in 1991 and attained a bachelor’s degree in Business from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Upon graduation, she began working for Bowman & Company, LLC in Stockton, California as a staff accountant. She obtained her CPA license in 2000 and continued her work at Bowman & Company until her passing.

Tami was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. In addition to being devoted to her immediate and extended family, she took on various leadership roles in school parent organizations at Woodbridge Elementary, Millswood Middle School, and Lodi High School. She also was an active volunteer at First United Methodist Church of Lodi. Tami enjoyed planning memorable family vacations and participating in the life of her community.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Benjamin and Geraldine Schaffer, and Theodore and Selma Entzi. She is survived by her husband of 21 years Jonathan Topham, her two children Trevor and Jack Topham, her parents Richard and Gaylene Entzi, sisters Cindy Mettler and Lisa Squires (Daniel), aunts Connie Gooden (Andrew), Nancy Hyske (Kenneth), and Benae Schmidt (Craig), in-laws Larry and Sharen Topham, sister-in-law Kristy Topham (Creston Creswell), and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

SERVICE

A memorial service will be held for Tami at 1:00pm on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church located at 200 W. Oak Street, Lodi, CA.

Ray Gamboa, 62, passed away on Aug. 15, 2019 at the Providence Alaska Hospital. Ray is survived by mother, Corazon Gamboa; wife, Shirley Gamboa;children, Ramsey Gamboa and Ray Gamboa Jr.; brothers and sisters, Camilo Gamboa, Pacita Acosta, Virginia Vergara, Arturo Gamboa, Jesus Gamboa, Nenita Devera, and Myrna Gamboa.
