Daniel H. Haro

May 09, 1973 - May 07, 2022

Daniel H Haro passed away on Saturday May 7th, 2022 at Kaiser Hospital in Modesto from diabetic complications.  He is in the arms of Jesus now and no longer suffering. 

He was born on May 09, 1973 in Lodi, CA to Trinidad and Irene Haro.  He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, his parents, Trinidad and Irene Haro, his sister Cynthia Outram (Mel), brothers, Tony (Deb) Haro and Steven (Kimberly) Haro.  He had many nieces and nephews.

He loved people and always had a ready smile.  He was a hard worker as a Contractor. He started his own business “Haro for Hire” and then “Haro Construction”.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10:00 at at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

Wesley Jones

April 21, 1934 - May 06, 2022

Wes was born to James and Edna (Hall) Jones in Vallejo CA. He attended Vallejo High School and Sacramento State College. He worked at General Mills starting in the Vallejo flour mill in 1953 where he worked full-time, raised his family and put himself through college. He transferred to the Lodi General Mills plant in 1964, and proudly retired as a Senior Project Engineer in 1994 after 42 years of service to the company.

Wes was married to his wife Barbara for 47 years until her passing in 2018. Together in retirement they traveled to Europe and Asia and loved their many trips to Carmel with “the pups”. Wes enjoyed golf and spent most of the spring and summer evenings watching his beloved SF Giants. Wes was involved with Lodi BOBS as a board member and a youth league coach for many years. In addition, he volunteered with the Junior Achievement program and served on Lodi Public Library board. Wes also spent 6 years as a member of the California National Guard.

Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his parents, James and Edna Jones; brother, Jim Jones; and sister, Frankie Cavender.

He is survived by his children, Dennis (Ranai) Jones of Rockwall TX, Lynn (Steven) Nilssen, Marty (Peggy) Jones, Debra Stiles and Steve Rodacker (Anna) all of Lodi; as well as 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Wes was a loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa and a good friend to many.

He will be missed.

SERVICES:

A service will be held at Cherokee Memorial Vineyard Chapel, 14165 N. Beckman Rd, Lodi, Thursday May 26 at 10:00AM. A celebration of life will follow at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club, 800 E. Woodbridge Rd, Woodbridge from 11:00AM – 1:00PM.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to Hospice of San Joaquin.

Peter Delos Reyes

April 04, 1936 - May 06, 2022

Peter Ramiscal Delos Reyes passed away on May 6, 2022, in Stockton, California. He was 86 years old.

Peter was born on April 4, 1936 to Catalino and Alejandra Delos Reyes in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was the third of five children. In 1945, the family immigrated to O’ahu, Hawai’i. He attended Waipahu High School and went on to study mathematics and business administration at Oregon State University.

After graduating, Peter began his distinguished career with the U.S. Department of Defense as a computer systems analyst. His work for the federal government took him all over the country and the world including Vietnam, Japan, and Korea. In Korea, Peter was chief of the Systems Engineering Division, Automation Management and Information Center, 36th Signal Battalion. Peter also taught computer science classes in his free time.

Peter and his family moved from Korea to Stockton in 1987 when he became chief of the Operations Systems Integrated Division at Sharpe Army Depot in Lathrop. Peter retired in 1993 after 32 years of public service.

In his retirement, Peter enjoyed gardening and tending to his abundant fruit trees. He liked to keep his brilliant mind sharp with computer games and nature documentaries. He was a member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District Golf Club and continued to compete in tournaments every weekend until his death.

Peter is survived by his wife, Kyong; six children, Debra, Harvey Scott, Robin, Wendy, Betty, and Nancy; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers Artemio and Roy; and many nieces and nephews. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, brother Samuel, and sister Mary.

Peter died peacefully surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Rudy Pedrosa

August 08, 1956 - May 04, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rudy Pedrosa .  Rudy was born on August 8, 1956 to  Andrew Pedrosa,  Sr. and Ida Pedrosa-Torres in Fresno, CA.  He was a resident of Fresno for the last 31 years.  Rudy passed away peacefully on May4, 2022 with his loving wife by his side.  Shortly after graduating from high school Rudy joined the Navy where he served on the USS Midway.  He was a dedicated and loving husband as well as a very helpful and caring friend.  With a quick smile, no one was a stranger to him. One of his favorite past times was to visit the cost.  Rudy also followed his faith and enjoyed studying the Bible.

Rudy was very handy and loved to remodel homes with his wife.  He also enjoyed redesigning the landscapes of the homes he remodeled into beautiful and relaxing retreats.  There was not much that he could not fix or repair.

Rudy is preceded in death by his parents Andrew Sr. and Ida.  He is survived by his wife Stephanie, his siblings Andy, Della, Lis, Richard and Diane as well as several nieces and nephews.

Richard San Miguel

October 1, 1958 - April 29, 2022

Richard San Miguel, passed away peacefully at his home in Lathrop, CA on April 29, 2022 at the age of 63. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges.

Richard was born to Ralph and El Wanda in Austin, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved fishing, golfing, woodworking, and fixing up his home. He lived for his grandchildren, and the love of his life, Cindy, who preceded him in death in 2017. Also preceding Rick in death were his parents, and brother, Rusty.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Summer Foster, sister, Rhonda San Miguel Cistone, nephew, Cody San Miguel. He was a proud “Pop Pop” to three grandchildren: Brandon, Cooper, and Dawson. On the Phelps side of the family, Richard is survived by his mother-in law, Jane, brothers-in-law, Darryl, Warren, and Jody, and sister-in-law, Robin. His father-in-law, Darryl Phelps preceded him in death in 2019.

Great thanks to the Phelps family for supporting Richard throughout his life. We appreciate the Phelps family support. We know Cindy is going to be there to meet him in heaven.

SERVICES:

Services will be held at 1pm on May 19th, 2022 at Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 N Beckman Road, Lodi, CA.

A celebration of life will follow the service at 3pm at Lodi Beer Co., 105 S School Street, Lodi, CA.
