Tillie Mitchell-Rallios

June 15, 1922 - July 11, 2024

Tillie was born June 15th 1922 in Hanna, Alberta, Canada to Gottlieb and Madelina Zahn, who immigrated to Canada from Russia.  She passed away on July 11, 2024 in Stockton.  She had two siblings, a brother Robert and a sister Mary who are both deceased.

The family moved to Oregon for a short time and then on to Galt where Tillie grew up and graduated from Galt High School.

She later met and married Ernest Mitchell and lived in Stockton for many years.  They had two daughters.

Tillie worked 50 plus years at various clerical jobs, the last being at Sears in the Auto Center.

After Ernest passed away, she later met and married Nick Rallios and was married for a number of years until his passing.  She once again met someone she was able to enjoy her later years with, Fred McKenzie.

Tillie loved to travel and was lucky to have gone many places here and abroad.  In her early years she loved to camp.  She still loved going to her favorite beach at Aptos, Santa Cruz and Sea Cliff.  She just loved to go, eat out, shop and go gambling.

She certainly will be missed and remembered for being so caring and giving.

Tillie is survived by her two daughters, Donna Combs(Don, deceased), and Gail Denney(Larry).  Granddaughters Denise Combs and Diane Wilcox(Greg), and Grandson Lance Denney. Greatgrandsons Dawson Hayre(Sydney) and Haydon Wilcox.  She will also be missed by her beloved cat "Misty".

We would like to thank all of her caregivers for the good care that they gave her.  And also to John B. for going above and beyond with her Friday visits to Trader Joe's.  Thank you to all the team there.

Tillie's service will be on Friday Aug.2, at 1:00 pm in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi.  Viewing will be on Aug. 1st, from 4-8pm at the Vineyard Chapel at Cherokee memorial Park at the north end of the park.
