Zac Boccia

Zac Sebastian Boccia
June 25, 1991 — November 11, 2024

Zac Sebastian Boccia (Dialect), 33, of Stockton, CA, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024.

Proceeding the unfortunate passing of his older brother Todd Boccia due to S.I.D.S., Zac Boccia was born on June 25, 1991, in Stockton, CA, the son of Pete and Kim Boccia. Zac attended John Muir Elementary and was the first ever elected student body president while attending Julia Morgan Elementary School. He also attended Jim Elliot Christian High School and Bear Creek High School and graduated, Class of 2009. In Summer of 2016, he earned his associate’s degree from San Joaquin Delta College. Zac married the love of his life, Amanda (Dominguez) Boccia, on May 25, 2024, in Lodi, CA. He enjoyed creating music, weight training, running, skateboarding, and spending time with his family and friends. Most importantly, he treasured being a father to S.J. and was elated about becoming a father again to his daughter in April of 2025.

Zac worked at Cintas for the past seven years supporting his life’s mission to provide for his loved ones. He was extremely hardworking, always ensuring he managed his responsibilities without complaint. Zac enjoyed life and had an amazing sense of humor. He treated each day as an opportunity to give back and relentlessly pursue his passion to create music as Dialect. Zac felt blessed to have his lyrical ability and obligated to share his voice with the world creating magic until his final day. We will be forever grateful for this gift and remember his message in our hearts and minds forever. Zac touched the lives of everyone around him and we will all cherish every moment he graced us with.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda; son, S.J.; un-born daughter, (Nova), father, Pete; mother, Kim; siblings, Lex, Liam, Tobie, and Sadie; and grandmother, Marie.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 21st, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at Vineyard Chapel in Cherokee Memorial Park, 14165 Beckman Rd., Lodi, CA, 95240. Eleanor "Grandma Grandma" Garcia November 14, 1939 – November 9, 2024 (84 years) Eleanor Garcia, affectionately known as "Grandma Grandma" or "Abuelita," passed away peacefully surrounded by love and those closest to her. Born on November 14, 1939, Eleanor lived a warm and loving life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Eleanor was a devoted mother to six children and is survived by her oldest living son, Jeff Vigil, her only daughter, Annette Meidinger, and her "sweetie pie," Stephen Garcia Jr. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she loved them with all her heart. Grandma grandma held many roles throughout her 84 years. Working as a cannery supervisor and master chef, Eleanor's talents and hard work were evident in every aspect of her life. She was also the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother around and was known for her generous spirit and deeply caring nature, with a touch of crap talk that remains unrivaled. The grandchildren’s fondest memories will be marked with fresh tortillas being handed around, slathered in butter, and making a mess on the floor, we still don’t know how any of them made it to the freezer. Watching grandma in her signature aprons (there were many) laboring over the entire kitchen to make the traditional tamales for Christmas, making sure to make the “little tacos” that no one could touch, and finally the generous Thanksgiving meals, always attended by the whole family, those were the best. Eleanor’s love of gambling was matched only by her generosity—she often shared her winnings with those around her. Her quick wit and fearless honesty were trademarks of her personality, endearing her to those who appreciated her straightforward approach to life. Eleanor was a woman who hugged deeply and loved unconditionally. She had a way of making everyone feel special and cared for, and her vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all who remain to remember her.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life at a later date.

Isabelita S. Custodio

November 5, 1940 - November 9, 2024

Isabelita S. Custodio, age 84, passed away on November 9, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton.

Lita was born on November 5, 1940 in Bohol, Philippines to Sofia and Simeon Sarabia. She graduated from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology. Lita was a dedicated educator, teaching Zoology at Holy Name University. After immigrating to the United States in 1968, Lita worked several jobs. She continued her passion for teaching through being an educator for the Stockton Unified School District, teaching at Edison High School until retirement. Lita made contributions to her community through her membership with the Legionarios del Trabajo and the Filipino American Educators Association of California.

Lita loved to travel, cook, and learn new things. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family and friends, sharing her love of food and travel with others, and doting on her two cats (Oliver and Alexis). Lita was loved by many and embodied the importance of kindness and sensitivity.

Lita will be remembered for her never-ending kindness, generous spirit, infinite wisdom, and her love for life. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and community members. Through them, Lita’s message of kindness and sensitivity to others continues.
