PATRICIA “PATTY” JANKOWSKI
MARCH 17, 1940 - NOVEMBER 23, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia “Patty” LaDucca Zoria Jankowski on November 23, 2024, at the age of 84. Patty’s life was defined by her unwavering love for family, her zest for life, and the warmth she shared with everyone she met.

Patty is survived by her beloved brother, Frank (Roberta) LaDucca; her devoted daughters, Elizabeth (Alfio Ciminata) Zoria and Concetta (Jason) Wilkins; and her cherished granddaughters, Sarah Zoria, Cassidy Wilkins, and Faith (Chris) Davidson. Through her marriage to Richard “Dick” Jankowski, Patty embraced a larger family that included her stepchildren, David and Shirley Jankowski, and stepgrandsons, Richard, Edward, Adam, Aaron, and Andrew Jankowski. She also shared a deep bond with her best friend and “sister,” Marian George, and her love extended to countless godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who became family.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony John LaDucca and Elizabeth Ann Ferrigno LaDucca; her two loving and devoted husbands, Nicholas “Nick” Zoria and Richard “Dick” Jankowski; and her precious son, Joseph “Joey” Zoria.

Patty was a true social butterfly throughout her life. Patty thrived in bringing people together. From her high school days at James Lick in clubs like the Girls Athletic Association (GAA) to her active involvement in community organizations; the C.H.A.R.M.S. in San Jose and several clubs in Lodi, including the Women’s Club, the Garden Club, and the Newcomers Club. During her years in Pioneer, she cherished her weekly Pinochle games and lively hijinks with the “Pinetime Ladies.”

A woman of many talents, Patty was a meticulous homemaker, a gracious “hostess with the mostess,” a creative gardener, and a talented artist and photographer. She loved to golf and bowl, and she had an extraordinary ability to bring beauty and joy into every aspect of her life. Her passion for travel was fueled by her curiosity about history and culture, and she had the privilege of exploring much of the world. The memories she created on these journeys enriched not only her own life but also the lives of those she loved.

Patty’s love for the arts extended to cinema. She looked forward to the Oscars each year as if they were her own personal Super Bowl, delighting in discussing the latest films and savoring classic favorites with friends and family.

Known for her energy, humor, and genuine care for others, Patty was a beloved figure who left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have been part of her life.
