July 26, 1981 - December 6, 2024
Nicole Marie Winans, 43, of Woodbridge, passed away on Friday, December 6th, 2024 Nicole was born in Stockton California on July 26th, 1981, and spent most of her life in the Stockton-Lodi area. Nicole worked as a hostess and server assistant at Cottage Bakery in Lodi and attended Woodruff Cosmetology School in Stockton while in her junior and senior year at Lodi High School. She graduated from Lodi High School in 1999 as an Honor Roll Student. Following graduation, she received her cosmetology license and worked as a hairdresser at Supercuts and Salon 101 in downtown Lodi. In 2010, she became the proud owner of a full-service salon and boutique in a prime area of downtown Lodi which she named Salon Envy and Boutique. Nicole's professional career reflected 25 years in the beauty industry. It was obvious that Nicole was destined to be in the beauty industry when she started styling her dolls hair at a young age. She always had a great sense of style whether it was hair, makeup, clothing or decorating her home
At eight years old Nicole became a big sister to her brother John, and she loved helping to care for him. Growing up she took tap, jazz and hip-hop dance classes. She was an exceptional swimmer, and played softball, piano and the flute. She enjoyed vacationing with the family at her grandparents' cabin in Bear Valley where she could show off her snow skiing skills in the winter. She picked it up right away and would glide downhill passing everyone without a care in the world. In the summer at Bear Valley, she liked swimming, fishing and going to the music festivals. Her annual summer birthday party bashes in her grandparents' backyard were always fun for family and friends. Her favorite birthday cake was glazed orange chiffon, and she requested it every year.
When Nicole had children of her own, she carried on with the backyard birthday party tradition for her son Brody and her daughter Presley. She also loved hosting the holidays, decorating her home to the hilt at Christmas and spoiling her kids with loads of gifts. Nicole enjoyed attending concerts (especially Brantley Gilbert), going to Lake Tahoe and spending time at the beaches in Hawaii, Monterey and Santa Cruz.
Nicole was born beautiful inside and out. She always strived to reach her goal and never gave up. She had a beautiful son, daughter and stepdaughter, a thriving business, and many close relatives and friends. She was loved by all, and she will be missed by all.
Nicole was preceded in death by her father Homer J. Clark, Jr. (AKA Michael), her grandfather Homer J. Clark, her grandmother Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Johnston, her grandfather William E. DuBois and her grandmother Melba L. DuBois. She is survived by her son Brody T. Winans of Lodi, her daughter Presley M. Winans of Lodi, her stepdaughter Madison M. Winsey of Woodland , her brother John T. Meurrier of Sonora, her mother Michelle M. Meurrier of Lodi, and her stepfather Joe K. Meurrier 11 of Lodi.
