Lloyd Neil Farmer, 80, of Lodi, CA, passed away March 26, 2025. Born on October 23, 1944, to Lloyd W. Farmer and Edna Farmer in Stockton, CA, Lloyd graduated from A.A. Stagg High School and S.J. Delta College. Lloyd served his country in the United States Air Force stationed in England. Lloyd was a respected businessman and owner of Valley Material Transportation, Inc. for 40 years, known for innovative and solution-based transportation services in the Western United States. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing and was an avid S.F. 49er and Oakland A's fan. Lloyd also enjoyed cruises with his wife, family and friends and spending time on the Oregon coast.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Pam Farmer, brother, Mark Farmer, daughter Shelly Hardcastle (Bob), son Joseph Farmer (Kaylene), son Matt Farmer, daughter Amber Greenwood, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd W. Farmer, mother, Edna Farmer and sister Jeanne Michel.
SERVICES
Lloyd's life will be celebrated April 10, 2025, at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, CA. Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the Vineyard Chapel.
