Terry Howard La Porte

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Terry H. La Porte on Monday, February 4, 2019.

Terry La Porte started his career with the Division of Juvenile Justice (then known as the California Youth Authority) in 1968 as a youth counselor in Stockton. In 1979, he promoted to Senior Group Supervisor and continued to move up the ranks before retiring as a Senior Youth Counselor in 2000.

During his tenure Terry was known as an extremely supportive and understanding supervisor. He was a kind-hearted and loyal friend and was loved by so many. Terry will certainly be missed by his family and friends.
