Our dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa, Walton Evans, Sr., passed peacefully at his home on August 31st, 2019, with his family by his side.
He was born June 6th, 1935 in Morgantown, KY to Hobart & Prudie Evans. At the age of 19 he joined the U.S. Navy and served his country proudly in China, Korea, Japan & the Philippines. Following his Navy service, he settled in Indianapolis, IN. He worked for Western Electric as a Machine Setter until he retirement in 1994. He moved to Lodi, CA in 2015 to be near family.
Dad loved working with wood, planting his garden, fishing, garage sales, reading Louis L'Amour, good movies and his beloved Chicago Cubs. But most of all he truly loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Rosie, Nancy, Dora, and Wilma; and his beloved wife, Margie. He is survived by his son, Walton "Ed" Evans Jr. (Dee); and daughters, Rhonda Girley (Richard), Terry Evans (Mike), and Kimmy Evans (Paul); his sweetheart, Sandy Strait; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At his request, there will be no services.
We will sure miss you dad. Forever in our hearts.

Shirley Ann Melton passed away on August 30, 2019 in Stockton at the age of 82. She was born March 18, 1937 in Stockton and remained a lifelong resident. She worked at Sears for over 30 years and retired as a manager. Shirley enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening, and traveling in her motor home with her husband and dog Sam. She loved card parties and friends that would attend. She is preceded in death by her husband Rex Melton. She is survived by her 3 children: Kathy Plunk, Sandra Clayton, and Rex MeltonJr.; 7 grandchildren, 14 great Grandchildren, and niece Susan Marie and her cat Baby Turbo.

A graveside service for Shirley will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA, 95240.

Joseph (Jack) Kenneth Fraser October 27, 1935 - August 30, 2019 Jack passed away peacefully on August 30, 2019 at home in Stockton, CA with his wife Michael Jayne by his side. Jack was a loving Husband and Father. Jack was born Oct. 27, 1935 to Carol and Kenneth Fraser. Jack graduated from Hughson High School. He was a Life Member of the California Scholarship Federation and Student Body President. Jack excelled at sports - football, basketball and baseball. He attended Modesto Jr. College, and graduated from UC Berkley, also was a graduate from Boalt Hall, LLB. He was a Deputy Dist. Attorney for San Joaquin County, assigned to Municipal Court, then Superior Court - handling all types of preliminary hearings, motions and jury trials. Jack was a Supervisor, Juvenile Division San Joaquin County. Finishing his career in San Joaquin as a Court Commissioner for Juvenile Court. He was a member of various Professional Associations. Committee Associations: Member of Forty Niner Counsel, Boy Scouts of America. Scouts Master for Troop 60. Member of Board of Directors and Past President of Easter Seal Society of San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Calaveras, Amador and Alpine Counties - 1975. Member Citizens Volunteer Community to build a Therapy Ctr. for the handicapped. (Constructed Dec. 1982). Member of Tokay Athletics Club and Chairman 1981 - 1983. Member of Sertoma Club since 1976 - Sertoman of the Year, Pacific Southwest Region 1994. Member Ad Hoc Graffiti Abatement Council 1996 - 1997. He is survived by his wife, Michael Jayne, sons, Kenneth (Jolene) Fraser, Don (Julie) Fraser, siblings, Thomas (Judy) Fraser, Jane (Ronald) Martella, and Keith (Tamie) Fraser, five grandchildren Darren Fraser, Chelsea Fox, Allison Fraser, Nicole Fraser and Justin Fraser. The Fraser family wishes to thank all of the medical Doctors and staff that assisted Jack; Hospice of San Joaquin County for the compassionate care Jack received from their entire staff.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of San Joaquin County or St. Mary's Dining Room.

Chong Son Lee was born January 25, 1934 in Guh Chang, Korea. As a child he lived a poverty stricken life through the Japanese occupation and the Korean War. However, life improved when he served in the Korean Army as a “Katusa” aiding the US Army. His good English enabled him to open a successful trading business. After marriage he embarked to America with his family to chase that American Dream.
An ensuing janitorial contracting business allowed him to employ over a 100 people. For over 35 years his company served San Joaquin County and its surrounding counties. He is a man of wills; over coming obstacles was his motto. He will be remembered as the man who always gave his very best efforts in all his undertakings.
Chong is survived by wife Kwang Lee; children: Jae, Kenny, John Lee; daughters-in-law Sophia Lee and Franci Lu; grandchildren: Benjamin, Jennifer, Hannah Lee; Granddaughter-in-law Tien Le and great grandchild Mia Lee. He is preceded in death by parents: Suk Sul Gwak and siblings Gyun Jung and Jong Yeul Lee.
VISITATION
The viewing will be held from 12:00pm to the time of the service on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, located off of Highway 99 at Harney Lane, Lodi CA.

Armelda was born in Seward County Nebraska to the late Richard and Louise Zwick. She died surrounded by her family in Ripon, CA after a short battle with lung cancer. She was the fourth of five children and lived most of her childhood on her family's farm. Armelda is preceded in death by her husband George "Tim" Schreiber, brother Leland Zwick and sisters Edith Wobig and Betty Hofferber. She is survived by her children, Jane Wells of Portland, OR, Judy Wells of Clear Lake, CA, Mark Wells (Courtney) of Ripon, CA, and brother Richard Zwick (Eveline) of Seward, NE as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After 18 years Armelda retired from the Bank of Stockton in 1994. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stockton where she faithfully attended until her health declined.
SERVICE
